Lead Consultant for R&D project  

Consulted exclusively on a new design prototype to production model in fields of pneumatic and electrical tools.  Consulted with patent attorneys on preparation of patent applications. 

Developed and designed a new Pneumatic / Hydraulic Self-Drilling Rivet Gun and a successfully functional prototype.  Designed an electrical Self-Drilling Rivet Gun including all mechanics and the accompanying electrical AC/DC machine control.

Engineer

Produced 3D models and assemblies in Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0 of a new concept in level gauging components for railroad tank cars.  Produced 3D Cad models and assemblies to enable configuration decisions and determine interferences with adjacent equipment.  Produced manufacturing drawings and material lists for prototype construction.  Developed alternative design concepts for consideration by Engineering and Marketing management.  Designs involved mechanical and electrical components.  Participated in design reviews and Design-for-Manufacturing reviews.

Analyzed cooling times for automobile transmission pinions and designed a robotic monorail according to the investigational results including specific and detailed components utilizing Pro/Engineer 2001 and Pro/Engineer Wildfire.

• Invention on Non Interruptible Medical Light Source for Endoscopy.
• Development of a miniature Operating Laparoscope for Brain Surgery.
